Jeff Petty lives his life with purpose, a tenet he strives to impart in his work with today’s aging population. As president and chief executive officer of Wesley Enhanced Living, Petty is committed to helping make the life transitions of seniors seamless, stimulating and self-sustaining.

Since joining Wesley Enhanced Living, Petty has significantly expanded the organization’s footprint within the aging services industry and has succeeded in positioning WEL as a true visionary in the field—particularly through the nationally recognized and highly respected Aging Revolution Summit, an annual forum orchestrated by WEL that convenes notable thought leaders in business, government, health care, and academia to discuss and debate critical issues that affect the future of aging Americans.

A keen innovator with acute vision of how emerging economic and social challenges will shape the future of aging services, Petty is leading Wesley Enhanced Living to test and implement a new senior health and housing services delivery model, called
SHIFT (Senior Health and Housing Initiative for Transformation), to ensure that quality retiree housing and medical care is affordable and accessible to middle class Americans.

Additionally, Petty is leading Wesley Enhanced Living to adopt a new approach to senior living, transforming the current modus operandi of Continuing Care Retirement Communities to Enhanced Living Communities—environments that provide abundant opportunities for residents to connect with their own unique purpose and discover continual fulfillment.

Petty came to Wesley Enhanced Living with more than a decade of distinguished experience in finance and operations. In the early part of his career he served in an executive finance role for a Fortune 300, $2.4 billion company, then subsequently was appointed as chief of operations and finance for several large, multi-facility senior services providers at which he made significant strides in improving the financial health and operational efficiency for each organization.

Petty holds a master of science degree in industrial administration from Carnegie-Mellon University and a bachelor of science degree in operations research from Cornell University.
